2017 PIECES OF MIND MENTAL HEALTH CONFERENCE:

DATE: Tuesday, October 24th, 2017

TIME: Sign-In at 10:30am, Conference 11:00am – 3:00pm

LOCATION: Surrey Conference Center, Cedar Building

DESCRIPTION: “How Do You Thrive?” – As the 2017 Pieces of Mind Mental Health Conference falls within KPU’s upcoming Thrive Week, we will be exploring this question as our conference theme. Thrive Week is a movement across a number of Canadian post-secondary institutions directed at building positive health and well-being for students, staff, and faculty alike. And so, the Peer Support Team has endeavored to develop a program that will allow attendees and presenters to learn from each other and develop their answers for the question, “How Do You Thrive?”

Did you know BC has a host of distress services offered through the Crisis Centre for individuals in mental health distress? They have phone and online chat services that youth and adults can access across the province.
