I provide psychological and psycholegal (forensic) assessments.
Psychological assessments include diagnostic and treatment recommendation assessments. These assessment are best suited for individuals who would like a formal assessment of psychological functioning to determine things like if and what mental health diagnosis(es) apply to their mental health status and to be provided individualized treatment recommendations. We can determine what specific questions related to your mental health that you would like answered in an initial consultation call. Sometime people like these assessment for their own knowledge and wellness planning but other times clients need formal assessments for Persons with Disabilities (PWD), or for school or work (such as employee accommodations, higher education). If your assessment is needed for a specific third party let me know and I can advise if I am able to complete such an assessment for you. Third-parties are welcome to contact me if you think my services would meet your needs, like employee benefits.
Psycholegal assessments refer to assessments completed to answer specific referral questions important for civil and criminal legal proceedings. These include independent psychological examinations (what are sometimes termed independent medical examinations or IME) and assessments of risk for future violent offending and future sexual violent offending.

- Criminal proceedings include risk assessment for violence. Violence risk may be general violence risk or other specialized forms of violence, such as sexual violence, intimate partner violence, stalking, workplace violence, elder abuse, gang or extremist violence.
